Arsenal travel to Leicester on Saturday as they look to overcome a team who have so far managed to remain unbeaten in the Premier League and sit 4th in the table, two points above Gunners.

Kick Off: 15:00 Saturday 26th September (BST)
Venue: King Power Stadium
Last Season: Leicester 1-1 Arsenal

Absentees

Arsenal: Coquelin (knee, 17 Oct), Wilshere (fractured leg, Dec), Welbeck (knee, Feb), Rosicky (knee, unknown), Gabriel (Suspended for one game).

Leicester: Dyer (knee, 3 Oct), James (knee, Feb).

Arsenal

Despite some disappointing results recently, a win on Saturday would move Arsenal back into the top four.

The Gunners will be boosted by the midweek North London Derby win, and match-winner Mathieu Flamini may have done enough to earn himself a Premier League start this weekend.

A problem Arsenal might face? Goals. The Gunners top scorer this season is Olivier Giroud and Flamini who are both tied on two, whereas Riyad Mahrez alone has five. Arsenal need someone to step up on Saturday afternoon, one of the more influential players need to earn their money.

One to watch: Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean needs his first goal. Arsenal are in desperate need for a regular goalscorer and if Alexis nets one, you’d back him to keep scoring. He has the ability to make the difference in a game like this, hopefully this can be the game where we see him return to his best.

Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Cazorla; Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis; Walcott

Leicester

Unbeaten Leicester will be confident going into this game. Yet to be beaten in the league, Claudio Ranieri’s management skills have been publicly praised by Wenger this week.

Marc Albrighton, Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy and several other Leicester players will pose a threat to an Arsenal eleven that hasn’t quite found it’s feat yet.

One to watch: Jamie Vardy
Mahrez has got all the plaudits this season, but other Leicester City players like Vardy have been really impressive. The Gunners will have to be alert defensively for the full 90 minutes if they are to keep Vardy quiet.

Leicester XI (4-4-2): Schmeichel; De Laet, Morgan, Huth, Schlupp; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Albrighton; Okazaki, Vardy

Prediction: Leicester 1-2 Arsenal
I think this will be an exciting game, but tip the Gunners to edge it. I’m backing Alexis Sanchez to score his first goal of the season today to help us to the win.
