FIVE Serie A Players Arsenal Could Sign This Summer

Arsenal don’t tend to sign many players from Italy’s Serie A, but in doing so they are missing out on some of the best players on the market. Here’s why Arsenal should do all they can to sign these 5 top Serie A stars:

1. Juan Cuadrado

Juan Cuadrado is a Colombian winger who currently plays for Serie A side Fiorentina. His most common position is on the wings, but he has even played in positions such as centre-midfield and striker in the past season, so has great versatility. Cuadrado scored 14 goals and made 12 assists last season in all competitions, including an impressive World Cup, and looks set to leave Italy this summer in a big money move.

So here’s why Arsenal should snap him up. Cuadrado’s pace and versatility would bring an entirely different dynamic to the team – he could even play as a striker if Giroud needs a rest. Last season, the Gunners struggled for pace up top, but the addition of Cuadrado, alongside the likes of Sanchez, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain, would strike fear into the hearts of opposition defenders. What’s more, Cuadrado is far more skillful with the ball than the likes of Walcott, and can beat a man with ease due to his excellent dribbling ability. What’s more, the signing of Cuadrado would mean that the Gunners had fended off competition from the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona, and would be yet another statement to the world that Arsenal can once again compete, which will no doubt draw in more top class players. Use the page numbers below to navigate through the rest of this article.

With pace, skill and versatility, Cuadrado would be an excellent buy for the Gunners.
