Wing-backs: Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Although it’s not in his favoured position, we can all admit to getting excited when we see Reiss Nelson’s name on the team-sheet.
Both he and Maitland-Niles are players who you can really see having a future in this Arsenal squad and leapfrog the ‘going out on loan’ phase of their career.
Nelson has proved he’s got what it takes in attack but without a regular defensive shape alongside him it’s going to be difficult for him to do the dirty work.
However, being thrown into the deep end has helped his career and has only made him want more from the boss, now he has to show he’s worthy of keeping his place in the latter stages.
