‘His Biggest Ever Mistake’: Social Media Reacts To Wenger’s Transfer Decision

Whilst Monday night may have been remembered for Chelsea taking one step closer to the title, Arsenal fans were stressing about something entirely different.

Cesc Fabregas bagged himself two more assists during the Blues 3-0 win over Middlesbrough, which means they’re just three points away from lifting the league.

However, attention soon turned to how well Fabregas has been playing under Antonio Conte despite the lack of appearances he’s had in a Chelsea shirt.

The midfielder now has 106 Premier League assists to his name, and sits behind only Ryan Giggs in the all-time record tables.

As well as that, the 30-year-old became the first player to get 10+ assists in six different campaigns, something that annoyed Arsenal fans even more.

Why’s that you say? Because Arsene Wenger had the chance to resign Fabregas before the 2015/16 season and instead, let him join his bitter London rivals.

It didn’t take long for fans to jump on the Twitter bandwagon, calling out the Gunners boss for making one of the biggest mistakes of his Arsenal reign.
