Arsenal Striking Target Will ‘Certainly Leave’

Arsenal target Paulo Dybala will ‘certainly’ leave Palermo this summer, according to the club’s director Dario Baccin.

The 21-year-old Argentine has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe, including a number in the Premier League, and he will now be subject to a bidding war.

Valued at around €3om, Dybala is one of the most sought after and highly-rated talents in world football.

Palermo had slim hopes of keeping hold of the player but when speaking to Corriere Dello Sport, Baccin confirmed the chances of that were over.

“He has rejected all our proposals for a contract renewal, so at this stage it’s safe to say he will certainly leave,”

Juventus are believed to be leading the chase for the player, as Palermo would prefer to see Dybala remain in Italy, although the Turin giants would have to persuade the Argentine- as they already have a host of top striking talent.

Arsenal must fight a pack of vicious dogs for Dybala’s signature, which include Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, if they are to secure the striker.

The Gunners will also have to spend big, which makes things more difficult, but the confirmation that Dybala will leave Palermo will give Arsenal fans slender hopes.
