Four Arsenal Players Set To Impress At Euro 2016

Arsenal might have fell off at the end of the 2015/16 English Premier League season, finishing second behind Leicester City, but that doesn’t mean their players are done for the season. They are sending several of their world-class stars to Euro 2016 for their respective countries. Here’s a fabulous foursome that will shine bright for the Gunners in France, and ones that’ll not only take their countries far, but ones that’ll take this form in to the next domestic season. Keep your eyes on Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud. Curious as to why they’ll star at the Euro’s? Read on.

Wilshere is one to watch, for England. Why, you ask? He started only one game for Arsenal this season due to injuries, but he was still surprisingly selected by Roy Hodgson for England. He is one with a lot of critics, but when on his game, he’s unplayable. He could go on to become one of the best players for England, and he’ll get the chance to set this foundation this summer.

If he was to perform admirably for the Three Lions, then he’ll silence those critics, and have a confident platform to build upon in the next season. Not bad for a man who played a little over 100 minutes this season. This is second-chance saloon for the box-to-box midfielder, and he’s not going to let this chance lead him astray, right?

One man that’s been pulling the strings for the Gunners this season, and will next season, is Ozil. He, of course, is to be closely monitored. He’s a key reason Germany won the 2014 World Cup, and he’s a key reason the Germans have fun playing football, and why they’re contenders to win Euro 2016. Ozil’s free-flowing team-first style has made him a fans’ favourite for both Arsenal and Germany. Ozil could come up against several of his teammates this tournament, and you can get tips for every match this summer at Coral News. Which Arsenal player will shine brightest in France?

The playmaker can pick out a pass from anywhere on the pitch, and his vision and creativity allows him to assist or school goals aplenty, and for that reason, he’s a Gunner that will wave the Arsenal and Germany flag all summer long. He’ll be wanting to tempt European players to join him at Arsenal. He explained “It’s a long season and a lot of things must go right in the season. One of the things is players getting injured, which is one factor definitely. On the other hand we just have to focus more and with stronger players maybe coming in be competitive for next season and we will see where we end up at the end.”

Aaron Ramsey, although a quieter player than some of his peers, can be very influential. A key man for Arsenal and Wales, and he’ll be more needed than ever before for Wales this summer. He will team up with Real Madrid star Gareth Bale. Everyone will be focusing on Bale, believing that by stopping him, you can stop the Welsh. Ramsey should find himself very open. With his ability to pass, tackle, create and score, this box-to-box facilitator should find this a platform built exactly for him. Opponents will regret targeting Bale, whilst leaving Ramsey free to work to the best of his abilities.

One man that could, should and HAS TO shine, is Olivier Giroud. Why, you ask? He’s become a key player for the Gunners and France. However, with Euro 2016 taking place in France, all eyes are on the national team. Also, there’s increased pressure on the French forward. With Karim Benzema being left out for personal reasons, and youngster Anthony Martial inexperienced, Giroud’s play will be vital if they’re to show their best form this summer, of if they’re to win it all.

Giroud alluded to this, also, saying, “Of course there is added pressure, but it is also really exciting. Having the whole nation behind you is very motivating.”

The Arsenal forward concluded “I think you have to take every game as it comes and not make any assumptions as anything can happen on pitch. The groups are still competitive, and I believe that this is down to the quality of European football is always developing.”

If he plays his best, France has a chance, and Arsenal will next season.

These four Arsenal stars will be looking to have big, big campaigns, and they’ll return to the Emirates stadium as heroes, and stars ready to shine bright for their club next season, but only after taking care of international business at Euro 2016.
