888 Arsenal Injuries Since 2002: Best (Worst) Arsenal Tweets Of The Week

Each week I’ll be bringing you Arsenal Tweets of the Week. This is a roundup from a small selection of Arsenal-related tweets as chosen by me.

There’s not quite so much activity on Twitter this week what with the international break having just taken place but I’ve still managed to dredge up a few Tweets. So what do you want first? The good news or the bad news? Let’s start with the bad news shall we?

OK, technically this will either be good news or bad news depending on which side of the Özil fence you currently stand. To add to Arsenal’s injury woes Mesut Özil has torn a ligament in his left knee. He won’t be back on the bench let alone the starting lineup for between 10 to 12 weeks.

This “starting lineup” portrays those Arsenal players who can’t start for us due to injury. Yay! We’ve managed to get enough players to fill in every single position.

Last season we topped the Stamina League. This season we’re still top of the Injury League! Despite bringing in a new physio who was supposed to be one of the best. Do you often as the question “Why does this keep happening?”

OK I’ll admit it! There’s not actually any good news to impart but at least these last two news items are on a more positive footing.

Two congratulations go out to Aléxis Sanchez who not only won September Goal of the Month but was also voted Player of the Month. Fitting tributes to a player who has actually paid back Arsenal’s outlay in both effort and results.
