5 – James Tarkowski
Wenger has been looking to add a Premier League proven, homegrown defender for some time and the on form Tarkowski could fit the bill. The Burnley man has proven to be a stalwart at the back this season and Arsenal could definitely benefit from a player of his ilk. The Gunners sometimes play with three central defenders, but the club lack depth in quality there. Rob Holding still seems too raw, Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi are not favourites of Arsene Wenger, whilst Per Mertesacker is retiring at the end of the season and Laurent Koscielny has an ongoing Achilles problem. Arsenal have been widely linked with a move for Tarkowksi, but I wonder how much Burnley would demand?
