2 – Blaise Matuidi
If you’ve been following Arsenal transfer rumours over the last 10 years, you’ll remember Matuidi being linked several times to the Gunners during his time at Saint-Etienne. The 30-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract at PSG and with the likes of Verratti and Rabiot excelling in midfield, the Frenchman is seeing his game time limited. If Arsenal want to bring in an experienced central midfielder than Matuidi could be a good option, though it appears his best days are behind him. Arsenal were reportedly offered Lucas Moura and Matuidi in exchange for Alexis Sanchez. Juventus are also said to be interested, with a bid in the region of €15million reported.
