Arsenal look like they will accelerate some outgoing deals this week in order to clear some room for new arrivals ahead of the new season. Several players need to be sold – and in this article we take a look at three players that could possibly leave before the season kicks off.
1 – Lucas Perez
The end certainly seems close for Lucas Perez, who has been left infuriated by his treatment at the club and rightly so. He has performed well when called upon but Wenger appears to not have faith in the Spaniard and Arsenal have now allegedly set a €15million (£13.4million) price tag. Newcastle have joined the race, but his former club Deportivo lead the race for his signature with Arsenal yet to respond to a £9million offer tabled by the Spanish side last week. That would see Arsenal make a sizeable loss on the £17million they paid for him – but with the Gunners looking to shed the excess off the squad before making any more additions, they may be tempted to take what they can get for Perez.
