The Gunners are almost definitely in the market for a defensive midfielder this summer as they search for competition for Francis Coquelin. We take a look at 10 potential options.
1. Morgan Schneiderlin
The bookies favourite. The French midfielder has been linked with Arsenal for over a year and it is easy to see why. He has been one of Southampton’s best players over the last two seasons and is one of the best holding midfielders in the league. There seems to be an acceptance from Southampton and Koeman that Schneiderlin may move on this summer, after they blocked a move last year.
